Now hiring Part-Time Nutrition Assistants! This is a 6:00 AM—2:30 PM position, with an approximate work schedule of 23-32 hours/week.

As a Nutrition Assistant at Country Manor, you'll work as an integral part of our team, responsible for daily food production and preparation and ensuring that quality standards are being met. We take tremendous pride in the food we serve, and the way in which we serve it. We believe in holistic care, which includes assurance of healthy, comforting snacks and meals. Meals are served restaurant-style and are filled with uniquely creative entrees, internationally themed cuisines, nostalgic classics, and even recipes inspired by residents themselves. We believe that food is an essential part of healing, and whether people are with us for a long-term or short-term stay, providing meals that residents and patients enjoy is always a priority to us.

As a Nutrition Assistant, you'll:

• Assist one-on-one with residents' menu selection
• Prepare and serve food
• Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and dining area (dishwashing, sanitizing, storage, general cleaning)
• Set up for special event dinners/guests and/or food service requisitions

✔ Our ideal candidate:

• Is 18+ years of age
• Possesses knowledge of basic food preparation methods. Experience or training in institutional food services preferred, but not required
• Has strong communication and customer service skills and the ability to handle resident contact in a professional manner at all times
• Is self-motivated and able to work well independently, as well as a strong team player
• Is attentive to detail and prides themselves on accurate and neat work
• Is friendly, dependable, and enjoys working with the elderly

This is a part-time daytime position, working 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.  All positions include shifts every other weekend + every other holiday. Must be available to work on Fridays.
