Your day to day as a Customer Service Support/ProcessorAs a Customer Service Support/Processor at Christian Community Credit Union , you will leverage your discerning judgment to process online applications and validate identities to ensure a secure banking experience. Your role will involve performing essential tasks related to new account processing and account closures while managing various account maintenance requests with precision. You'll have the unique opportunity to proactively educate our members on CCCU products and services, employing your extensive product knowledge and rapport-building skills. By effectively communicating the benefits of available account types, you will assist applicants in selecting the most suitable options tailored to their needs, reinforcing our commitment to exceptional customer service in the banking industry. What we're looking for in a Customer Service Support/ProcessorTo thrive as a Customer Service Support/Processor at Christian Community Credit Union , you will need a solid foundation of skills and experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of two years in customer service and at least one year in clerical work. Proficiency in word processing (preferably Word) and spreadsheet software (Excel preferred) is essential, as is a basic understanding of banking and credit union products and services. Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are preferred. An energetic outlook is vital, as you'll embody the professional, friendly image our company strives for. Excellent interpersonal skills, including courtesy, tact, and diplomacy, are crucial when interacting with members and colleagues.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication abilities, and good telephone techniques will further equip you to excel in delivering exceptional customer service in the banking sector. Additionally, a good math aptitude and the ability to type accurately at a minimum of 25 words per minute will support your daily tasks effectively.
